We don’t have a tower. We don’t have a playlist. We don’t have a glass booth with a red light that says “On Air.”
What we have is signal. Useful Radio is a broadcast built by people who’ve been told to move on. We transmit from hostel rooms, borrowed desks, library sockets, and the backs of bus shelters. We speak from lived experience—not about it. We don’t ask for pity. We don’

t offer platitudes. We offer presence. Voice. Air. This isn’t a station you tune into. It’s one you step into. If you’ve ever felt unheard, unseen, or uninvited—this frequency is yours. Useful Radio.

This isn’t just our signal. It’s yours too. Useful Radio is open-mic without the spotlight. A shared wall, not a stage. Want to speak? Build? Remix? Translate silence into story? We’ll find space for your voice. Work with us, walk with us—there’s power in proximity.

🔥 Defiant
We don’t tidy things up to make people comfortable. We don’t dilute truth for funding forms or shrink ourselves to fit polite society. We broadcast from the edge—not to fit in, but to be felt. Because being heard shouldn’t be a luxury. Because “move on” never meant “shut up.”

🌒 Poetic
Some stations play top 40. We play Top Floor of the Hostel. Bottom bunk in the shelter. We broadcast grief, wit, memory, and hope. Our signal hums through damp corridors and night buses. Through the breath between sentences and the silence after stories. We’re not background noise. We’re foreground presence.
