ලෝකයේ නැගී එන දක්ෂතම හෙල්ල විසි කිරීමේ ඉසව්වේ ක්‍රීඩකයෙක් වන ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ රුමේෂ් තරංග පතිරගේ, මෙවර Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games තරඟාවලියේ හෙල්ල විසි කිරීමේ ඉසව්වෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කරමින් තරඟ වැදීමට නියමිතය.

දැනට ඔහු ලෝක ශ්‍රේණිගත කිරීම් අනුව දෙවැනි ස්ථානයේ පසුවන අතර, ලොව හොඳම නැගී එන මලල ක්‍රීඩකයන් දස දෙනා අතර ද ස්ථානයක් හිමිකරගෙන සිටී.
