litter pick for September! 🥳

🕐 10:30, 26 September
📍 Corner of Milnpark Street and Sussex Street in Kinning Park

We're tackling a patch that has long been deserted and is extremely littered. 😅 Hopefully this can give a clean slate for us to build upon.

If you do end up joining us, please do come in old clothes. It's a bit bushy in places and we don't want anyone to ruin good outfits!

Hope to see you there! All gear provided! 🚮

Thanks all for coming out this past Saturday and joining us on our August litter pick! 👏🏼💪🏼

Six gas canisters, 10 vapes, roughly 12 black bags of litter and a couch were lifted! 😲 That's a serious amount, really proud.

The next one will be the last Saturday of September. It would be great to see you there!

Wondered how we did in the Glasgow Litter Picking Games?!

We won silver! 🥈🥳

In just an hour with 9 volunteers in total, we managed to gather 17 black bags of litter in the Kinning Park area around the Paisley Road West Toll! That's a serious amount of litter in a short period, well done all!

Congratulations to G3 Litter Free for coming 1st 🥇 and G42 Litter Rescue for coming in 3rd!

There has been a lot of work done around the city to get ready for the Commonwealth Games, I hope we can keep this spirit up and take care of the city beyond. Any day, any year. 💪🏼

🕘 10:30, 18 July
📍 Meet in front of La Fiorentina in Kinning Park

We will record the number of bin bags filled and report it to the organisers. Let's see if we can take gold!🥇🥳

See you there! 💪🏼
