OUR NEXT LOCAL HISTORY SESSION IN RIDDRIE LIBRARY - TUESDAY 16TH JUNE

A very belated thank you to those who attended our first local history session back in February! People brought along historical bricks, shared work they'd published on local churches and bowling clubs, and reminisced with us about the area's old cinemas, football grounds and dog tracks.

We want to keep mapping out points of interest in Riddrie and Carntyne, with the idea of eventually putting together a walking route for anyone who'd like to learn more about the history of the area. Please come along next Tuesday if you'd like to contribute - we'll supply the tea and biscuits if you supply the memories.
