Just wow… we are absolutely blown away 🤯✨

To be nominated for **Scotland’s Best Pantomime Production**, alongside **Best Principal Performer**, **Best Dame**, **Best Local Group**, and **Funniest Moment**… it honestly doesn’t feel real.

From rehearsals in living rooms, to late nights, last-minute props, and a whole lot of laughter… this little group of volunteers has poured heart and soul into every second of what we do. We don’t have big budgets or fancy resources — just passion, creativity, and the most incredible people.

To be recognised in this way means everything. It shows that what we’re doing matters. That the magic, the madness, the community spirit of panto is being felt by audiences far beyond the stage 💛

Thank you to every single cast member, backstage helper, supporter, and audience member who has cheered, laughed, booed (loudly 😜) and believed in us. You are the reason we’re here.

And to be mentioned alongside so many amazing productions and performers across Scotland… we are truly honoured.

Here’s to panto, to community, and to a little bit of Christmas magic all year round 🎭✨

We’re absolutely delighted (and still laughing!) to share that we’ve been shortlisted *again* at the Scottish Pantomime Awards… this time for **Funniest Moment!** 🎭😂

With so many hilarious moments in the show—some very carefully planned… and others, well… not so much!—this one feels extra special. That’s the true magic of panto, where anything can happen and usually does!

We’ve been so lucky to have a cast and crew who bring the laughs every single night, on and off stage. From quick wit to unexpected mishaps, it’s been a joy to create something that’s had audiences laughing along with us.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, cheered us on, and shared in the fun—we couldn’t do it without you 💛

Here’s to the chaos, the comedy, and the moments you just couldn’t script! 🎉

I honestly don’t know where to begin… ❤️🎭

To be shortlisted at the Scottish Pantomime Awards for:
✨ Best Principal Performer
✨ Best Panto Dame
✨ Best Local Group in Scotland
(with more categories still to be announced!)

…is something I could only have dreamed of when Anathallo Theatre Group first began.

A massive thank you to Pantomimes in Scotland for supporting and celebrating local theatre groups across the country, and thank you to everyone who nominated us and believed in what we do.

Anathallo started with just my husband and I, alongside a small group of amazing friends, with a passion for creating theatre that was fun, accessible and community focused. We were incredibly lucky to receive a £500 grant from Awesome Glasgow which allowed us to produce our very first pantomime, Aladdin. We had no idea then where this little adventure would take us.

Since then, we have proudly self-funded productions including our Glasgow 850 show, our Robin Hood pantomime, and our ASN sensory theatre show Once Upon a Sign. Every rehearsal, every prop, every costume, every ticket sold and every standing ovation has been built on passion, friendship and community spirit.

To all our cast members, backstage teams, volunteers, helpers, families, audiences and supporters — thank you. None of this happens without you. Whether you shared a post, bought a ticket, built scenery, handed out programmes, or simply came along and laughed with us, you are part of this journey too.

We are so proud of how far this little theatre group has come, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for Anathallo. ❤️✨

We are absolutely over the moon to share that Anathallo Theatre Group has been shortlisted for **Scotland’s Best Local Group** at the 2026 Scottish Pantomime Awards! 🎭✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who nominated us, supported us, bought tickets, volunteered, shared our posts, laughed with us, sang along with us, and believed in what we do.

As a completely voluntary, non-profit group, this means the world to us. We work so hard to create inclusive, accessible and affordable theatre for our community, and to be recognised alongside so many incredible groups across Scotland is something we are immensely proud of. ❤️

This nomination belongs to every cast member, backstage helper, volunteer, supporter and audience member who has been part of the Anathallo journey.

Thank you for helping us keep community theatre alive and thriving! 🎉
