⚜️ Can You Help Us Build Our Kilt Bank? ⚜️

At 12th Glasgow (1st Lenzie), our Scouts and Explorers aged 14–18 are increasingly being offered amazing opportunities — from national events to international camps — where full uniform is required, that includes wearing a kilt.

Kilts are a proud part of our heritage, but they’re also a big investment, especially for young people who are still growing. Rather than asking families to buy something that might only be worn a handful of times, we’re hoping to create a shared kilt bank that our young people can borrow from whenever they need it.

If you have a kilt at home — any tartan, any size — that’s no longer being used, we’d be incredibly grateful if you’d consider donating it. You’ll be helping young people take part fully in Scouting experiences, removing barriers, and supporting our commitment to reuse, recycle and care for our planet.

Every donation helps us make Scouting more accessible, more sustainable, and more inclusive.
