The Joga Foundation is offering 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 in Glasgow or surrounding area the chance to receive a completely 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 from August to December! 🙌

✅ UEFA-qualified coaches

✅ Weekly max 2-hour sessions
✅ Designed to improve confidence, wellbeing, attendance & teamwork

All we require is access to a games hall or indoor sports facility.

Last week we shared news about a new funding application, and we are absolutely delighted to now share even more exciting news thanks to 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚’𝙨 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙘𝙤𝙙𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮! 🙌⚽

This support is another huge step forward for JOGA Foundation and our vision for the future of sport and community development here in Glasgow.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be announcing more about our plans, our community football hub, and the positive impact this funding will help us create for people across our community. 💛🖤

𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🙌🏻

We were delighted to welcome 3 new participants along to the group as we shared memories of Scotland’s famous 1976 victory over England ⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The session finished with plenty of laughs and some boccia fun 🔴🔵

We had the pleasure of welcoming residents from 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 for a brilliant session filled with conversation, connection, and activity 💬💛

From sharing memories to getting active with inclusive games, it was fantastic to see everyone smiling, engaging, and supporting one another.

In partnership with Sporting Memories, this programme is designed to support older adults, including those living with isolation or dementia. Through the power of sport, we’re creating a space to reminisce, reconnect, and socialise in a friendly and inclusive environment.

Our Frame Football programme is running every Sunday morning, giving children of all ages who use a walking frame the opportunity to get involved in football in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment 💛

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁:

✅ Playing football
✅ Making new friends
✅ Building confidence
✅ Having a safe space to enjoy sport
✅ Experiencing all the amazing benefits of being active

We’re proud to offer a space where every child can feel included, valued, and part of a team 🙌
