🌟 Nominate a Paisley Local Legend! 🌟

We’d love your support in the Love Paisley Star Awards by voting for RCA Trust in the Local Legend Award category.

RCA Trust is a free, independent and confidential addiction service that has supported people across Paisley and the wider community for almost 50 years.

We believe RCA Trust is truly iconic because:

• We’ve supported generations of local people through life’s challenges and addiction issues
• We provide a lifeline service that is free and accessible to everyone in the Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire area
• We are the only organisation locally providing a full wrap-around support service, helping people with multiple issues in one place
• We’ve become a trusted, familiar place people turn to when they need help most

If our work has helped you, your family, or someone you know, please take a moment to cast your vote and help us celebrate the community we love.

💙 Your support would mean the world to us!

*Please note - you do not have to fill a nomination in for every category - scroll to the bottom of the link & you will see the Local Legend Award section at no.6*

Today, Maria and Wallis delivered the first session of a 4-week Gambling Harms Awareness course at HMP & YOI Stirling with women living within the prison environment 💜

The programme will support participants in achieving a Level 2 qualification in Tackling Gambling Related Harms, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.

It is incredibly meaningful to deliver this work within prison settings, creating opportunities for women to engage in open conversations, build knowledge and awareness, and gain recognised qualifications that can support personal growth and positive futures 🌱✨

We are proud to see another prison begin as part of our growing prison project and look forward to continuing this important work across more establishments.

Maria was grateful to be invited to attend the official opening of the Welfare Hub at HMS Caledonia 💙

It was wonderful to see such an important space created to support those who serve, along with the families and loved ones who stand beside them.

The hub will provide a welcoming environment where people can access meaningful support, and we are proud to be able to offer education, awareness and prevention around gambling harms as part of that wider support network. 🤝✨

A fantastic step forward for the Naval community, and a real privilege to be part of such a special occasion. 👏
