Register by the end of the month for The Two Shrines Pilgrimage, a pilgrimage led by the Confraternity of St Ninian.

Pilgrims walk from the National Shrine of St Andrew in St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, to the ruins of St Andrew’s mediaeval shrine in St Andrews, a distance of around sixty miles. The programme incorporates the Traditional Latin Mass and devotions, and runs from Saturday 27 July to 29 July.

Followed by Lunch Social (pizzas) from 1pm at the same address. £5 per person.

Dear Members and Friends,

Another reminder about the Eastertide Dance on 6 April. Please join us for an evening of live music, waltzing, ceilidh, and--for the brave--some swing-dancing!
The Eastertide Dance will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 7:30 PM until 11:00 PM at Lauriston Hall, 28 Lauriston Street, Edinburgh. Adult tickets are £20, and tickets for teens accompanied by parents are £15. Refreshments provided. Black tie/national dress optional. Proceeds will go to TLM charities including Una Voce Scotland.

Furthermore, there will be a free dance workshop on Easter Monday (1 April) at St Andrews parish hall, Ravelston from 7pm-9pm during which we will go over ceilidh dances, swing-dancing and waltzing in preparation for the dance on the Saturday.

Please see below for details of this year's Chartres Pilgrimage (18-20th May):

The Chartres pilgrimage is a three day walking pilgrimage held annually at Pentecost from Notre Dame, Paris to Notre Dame, Chartres. (Currently the starting point is the church of Saint Sulpice in Paris.)

Thousands of Catholics from France and abroad spend three days walking, praying and singing together on this traditional pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Chartres, the magnificent 12th century building which houses Our Lady's veil.

For the past ten years a group of Scottish Catholics have walked this pilgrimage from which many graces have been received. We will be going again in 2024, walking under the banner of Our Lady of Aberdeen. This year we will be joined by the Marian Franciscans from Dundee.
