We’re excited to announce the very first awards from our brand new Get Active Glasgow Fund, created to make sport and physical activity more accessible across the city!

This week, our funding panel awarded 9 organisations nearly £30,000 to help kickstart projects that will get more people moving. Here’s a glimpse at some of what’s coming:

🏆 Sapphire Gym
Launching an age and dementia-friendly seated gymnastics programme, opening their doors to a whole new audience.

🏆 Active Life Club
Launching women-only fitness and badminton sessions to create welcoming, inclusive spaces in Govanhill and the Gorbals.

Do you have an idea that could help your community get active? 💡

Not-for-profit sport and physical activity organisations can apply every month for grants between £1,000 and £5,000 to create or grow opportunities for the people who need them most.
