Could your experience help improve end of life care in Scotland?
After Marie Curie supported her mum during a terminal illness, Caroline wanted to give something back. She joined Marie Curie’s Research Voices Group to help make sure people with lived experience of palliative and end of life care can help shape research and influence positive change.

“I'm not sure what my family would have done without Marie Curie's support when my mum was terminally ill - they helped us a lot and I wanted to give something back.
I'm quite new to the group, but I've already taken part in fantastic training about the history and work of Marie Curie and had the opportunity to participate in research and campaigns. I hope, by being involved in this friendly group, I can make some small difference to Marie Curie's mission to ensure a better end of life for more people.”
If you have experience of palliative and end of life care and want to use your voice to help shape future research, we’d love to hear from you.
