A special visit to Marie Curie Glasgow Hospice 💛

We were delighted to welcome Tracey Howe to the hospice recently following her well-deserved Pride of Scotland Award win. 🎉

Over the past year, Tracey has achieved something truly remarkable, raising more than £70,000 for five charities, including Marie Curie. Her passion, determination and commitment to supporting causes close to her heart have inspired so many people along the way.

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate Tracey's incredible achievement. Congratulations once again, Tracey, on your Pride of Scotland Award, and on an extraordinary year of fundraising. 💛

💛 Thank you to everyone who donated last week at our Parkhead Street Collection.

We took to the pavement and took on the rain on matchday to raise vital funds for Marie Curie. Together, generous fans and committed volunteers helped raise £549.81 before kick off!

Paint It Yellow - Morrisons, Arbroath edition 🙌

After proudly completing the Kiltwalk in support of Marie Curie, the team kept the momentum going as part of the Paint It Yellow Relay Day with an exciting visit from the local fire engine 🚒

This perfectly highlights the connection between Marie Curie and Morrisons, bringing staff and the community together to support people living with a terminal illness and their families.

All through our partnership, we have been so grateful and incredibly proud of what we can achieve together. Thank you to everyone who joined in and showed their support. 💛

We chatted with Eva, who recently joined us at one of our collections for the first time. She already plans to sign up again. Eva said:

“I wanted to do something in return and fundraising for a few hours was fun, talking to people from all walks of life. l will certainly do more for them in the future.

Helping to fundraise for Marie Curie will give other families the care and support they need for their loved ones.” 💛

A huge thank you to Mary and Robert at Elder's Bar in Tollcross, for hosting a fantastic fundraiser in support of Marie Curie. They donated an incredible £3,332.53. ✨

As one of the area's best-loved bars, Elders is well known for its warm welcome and great atmosphere, making it the perfect place for bringing the community together. 💛

Thanks to their hard work and the support of their loyal customers and friends, an amazing amount was raised to help us continue provide expert care and support for local people living with a terminal illness and their families. We are so grateful to everyone who donated, attended and helped make the event such a success.

A huge thank you to Richard, Lynn and everyone at Morrisons in Crossmyloof for welcoming us to your fantastic Paint It Yellow Relay Day as part of the official partnership with Marie Curie. 💛

It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, with colleagues and customers coming together through a sponsored cycle challenge and raffle to raise vital funds. They even arranged a taxi to ensure the baton reached it's next store in style.

Partnerships like this make a real difference, not only to fundraise but also help raise awareness of Marie Curie’s services within local communities, bringing people together to support a cause that touches so many lives.

Thank you to all the stores that took part. We’re so grateful to have Morrisons as part of the Marie Curie family. 💛

Last week our Community Fundraiser Erin was presented with a cheque of £3,667 from the Kearney family! 🎉

They and their friends have done an incredible job fundraising recently in loving memory of Alice, who was cared for at the hospice earlier this year.

Erin was invited to their Line Dancing Coffee Morning recently, and had a brilliant time with the family and their friends. Thank you for your wonderful support! 💛
