We curently have a table at Bishopbriggs Library where you can find information about our various volunteer roles. We have a fantastic team and would love to welcome more people on board 🤗

We are currently very short on volunteer drivers for taking people to their health appointments and collecting shopping. We don't require a minimum time commitment, even a couple of hours a month can make a big difference! We just need people with access to a car who are available during the week.

We loved seeing so many people at our summer event today! We welcomed a few people for the first time and celebrated all our volunteers who do fantastic work keeping us going. Thanks to Vikki Gray for making beautiful cupcakes!

Volunteering Opportunities with G64 Community Support
G64 Community Support is looking for new volunteers to join their growing team and help support elderly and vulnerable people across the G64 area, including Bishopbriggs, Auchinairn, Torrance and Balmore.

Community Support Volunteer (G64 Area)

Community Support Volunteers provide practical, hands-on help to local people. Tasks may include:

Essential shopping
Transport to shops and medical appointments
Collecting prescriptions
Friendly phone calls or visits

There is no minimum time commitment — any time you can offer makes a real difference. A car is essential for this role, and out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed. Full training is provided, along with PVG and an ID badge.

We welcomed many of our clients back for our annual Easter lunch. It was lovely to see everyone!
