Does consciousness continue after death?
That's the age old question, and one that we explore in our first film, In the Realm of Death & Dreaming.

Those who have had these experiences are sometimes reluctant to talk about it due to a fear of being misunderstood, dismissed , or thought of as mentally unsound.

But we want to hear about it!

Online support for bereaved dads 🙏💔

Our next online support group for bereaved dads will be on Tuesday 9 June from 7-8.30pm.

A father who recently attended described the group as "a safe space that I can use to voice my grief with other fathers."

"Architecture of Death: The Inner World of Dying” is the final film in the When You Die documentary trilogy.

What happens as we are dying? What could the final months, weeks, and days of life look like for the person who is dying? And the people who love them?

"Architecture of Death" explores the physical aspect of dying, as well as the unseen felt experiences that can occur, such as: the changing roles within a family, the potential to heal old wounds, deathbed visions or dreams, messages to loved ones from the dying or recently passed, and a host of other phenomena.

Have your say on palliative care. Let your views be heard 🙏

Have your say on the future of palliative care and care around dying in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are inviting people to share their views on its draft Palliative Care and Care Around Dying Strategy, and we’d encourage anyone with an interest or experience to take part.

Last year, over 200 people across Greater Glasgow and Clyde shared their experiences of palliative care and care around dying. From these conversations, five draft priorities have been developed.

NHSGGC is now asking patients, families, carers, staff, communities, and partner organisations to help review these priorities and share whether they reflect what matters most, and whether anything important is missing.

The feedback gathered will help shape the final Palliative Care and Care Around Dying Strategy for Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The findings from this work will also provide valuable insight for Marie Curie into unmet need and people’s experiences of palliative care and care around dying across communities.
