A huge thanks to our recent guest speaker Sarah Rhind.

Sarah attended our 2026 Girls Cap Dinner at the Stirling Court Hotel where she helped present the BGC international caps to the players and was interviewed by her friend, BGC Scotland Coach Clare Docherty.

Sarah openly discussed the story of her experiences with addiction, recovery, and how football and Street Soccer Scotland helped her rebuild her life.

All covered in detail in her own book titled “Scars Under the Jersey: Addiction, Loss and the Game I Love”.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿|🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 After losing two early goals our Boys 2026 U17s put in a valiant effort but just couldn’t get a foothold back in the game as Boys and Girls Clubs of Wales Boys U17s retained the BGC U15s trophy on Sunday at Afan Lido.

The boys ran themselves into ground against a very good Welsh side.

Well done to all involved.

Sundays night’s annual BGC Boys cap presentation saw another BGC Scotland member honoured and their commitment to the Boys and Girls Clubs set up celebrated.

Ronnie Traynor of BGC Scotland was presented with a Boys and Girls Clubs of Scotland Cap to recognise 10 years service to the organisation.

The award was handed over by BGC Scotland Chairman David Rowan.

Congratulations to Ronnie for his unwavered support of the Boys and Girls Clubs.

However, we couldn’t be prouder of the boys and their performance against a very good Welsh side.
