Looking for reliable medical transport or a way to give back to our local community?✨

The Girvan and South Carrick Community Action Network (CAN) is there to help! Based at 81 Dalrymple Street, this wonderful local charity connects residents with affordable, volunteer-led transport to NHS hospital appointments across Ayr, Kilmarnock, and Glasgow.

🏥 Need a Lift?If you have an upcoming medical appointment, you can arrange a drive for a small donation. Just be sure to give the team at least 24 hours' notice!

🤝 Want to Make a Difference? CAN relies on the kindness of volunteers to keep running. They are always looking for friendly volunteer drivers and office helpers. It is a fantastic way to support your neighbours.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall in Colmonell this afternoon. It was lovely to meet everyone and put faces to names. It was a great afternoon in the village. Thank you to everyone involved in organising the Funday and for having us along. - Jen

Make your Sundays extra special by taking the Community Transport Bus to Girvan and enjoy the amazing entertainment provided at Music on the Prom. Our Sunday Service will take you into Girvan for 12.45pm and leaves again at 4.30pm. A perfect day out. Please see the info below regarding the Tuesday and Thursday Community Bus Service to Ballantrae. The service will restart on Thursday.

Stinchar Connections; Road is still due to be closed between Colmonell and Pinwherry on Tuesday 2nd June, which means that the service to Ballantrae will not run on Tuesday 2 June. The Stinchar Connections to Ballantrae will restart on Thursday 4 June.
