What a wonderful morning at our Riverbank Local Women’s Ministries Breakfast!

We were privileged to welcome Major Tracey Palmer, Assistant Divisional Leader, who shared with us about her ministry and the work of The Salvation Army in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea.

Tracey highlighted the amazing work taking place with women and children, particularly the life-changing impact that teaching women to read can have on their families and wider communities.

We were also blessed by ministry in song from Sherry Pablo and Sarah Salcedo from Chatham Salvation Army.

Our craft time led by Hannah Whittaker was extended because nobody seemed to want to go home! We had great fun creating some beautiful paper baubles.

As always, one of the real joys of our breakfast is sharing fellowship with our own ladies, friends from neighbouring Salvation Army Corps and women from local churches.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today. It was a real blessing to spend the morning together, sharing in worship, fellowship, creativity and friendship.
