As women, we often juggle so many responsibilities, sometimes forgetting to look after ourselves.

Today is a reminder that our mental health matters too.

Let's continue to break the stigma, check in on one another, and create spaces where we can talk openly and seek support without judgement.

What is Engage and Excel? 🌿

It's one of WEWN's core programmes , a structured pathway supporting BAME, migrant, and refugee women into enterprise and economic empowerment across the North East.

🔹 Engage: outreach, mentoring from women with similar lived experience, and the confidence and networks to take that first step toward self-employment or career progression.

🔹 Excel: the practical skills to make it happen,business planning, registration, marketing, finance, digital tools, plus 1-to-1 advice and funded learning to help you start, sustain, and grow.

Launched in partnership with PNE Group in 2020, Engage and Excel exists to build a new generation of women role models, entrepreneurs who inspire the next woman to take her own first step.
