Today was our monthly support group for people affected by Parkinson's.

We welcomed rep Helen and heard first-hand about the ParkinsonsUK campaign relating to Blue Badges.

We meet at the Hub on the third Wednesday morning of each month (10.30am-12.30pm); next time is August 19th. If you or a loved one is wondering, know that you'll be welcomed, listened to, made a brew and introduced to a supportive community.

People with Parkinson’s are being denied Blue Badges. Or are being put through unnecessary reassessments. Join our campaign to fix Blue Badges in England.

A Quiet Day: Holy Days and Holidays at the Garstang Methodist Community Hub, Park Hill Road, Garstang, PR3 1EL.
10am for a 10.30am start.
Booking not essential.
Bring your own lunch or visit one of the cafes in Garstang. Drinks and biscuits provided.
Guided reflection, crafts, prayer stations, worship.

Today was the last Open the Book of the school year at Garstang Community Primary School. The story of Deborah was re-enacted with a myriad of props. Afterwards Bibles were presented to the Year 6 students who are moving to new schools in September.

Then coffee and cake with friends back at Garstang Free Methodist Church.
