The carers group. now the Garstang Cares Community Group, is on today for or monthly gathering, still with a friendly space for carers and anyone 18+ to connect, chat and access local support. We've had some great speakers and peer support over the last year and know that this will continue. From 2pm this afternoon (Wednesday 2nd) at the Hub.

Today was our monthly support group for people affected by Parkinson's.

We welcomed rep Helen and heard first-hand about the ParkinsonsUK campaign relating to Blue Badges.

We meet at the Hub on the third Wednesday morning of each month (10.30am-12.30pm); next time is August 19th. If you or a loved one is wondering, know that you'll be welcomed, listened to, made a brew and introduced to a supportive community.

People with Parkinson’s are being denied Blue Badges. Or are being put through unnecessary reassessments. Join our campaign to fix Blue Badges in England.
