Our last session of the term at Galashiels Academy today and we were able to explore some of the new path around the school grounds.

We also got to meet the lovely Cosmo who was out on a walk with her hoomans.🐕

Unfortunately we had to cut the session a little short because of inconsiderate parking near the accessible spaces - the Trishaw simply couldn't get past 🙄

Looking forward to resuming the sessions with the fantastic students at the EPU in the Spring 🙂🏁

🎁🚨 URGENT APPEAL — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🚨🎁

Our Mission Christmas campaign is fast approaching — but we have a HUGE problem.

We don’t currently have a HQ. And without a HQ, we simply cannot deliver Mission Christmas.

Every year, Mission Christmas helps ensure that thousands of children across the Scottish Borders receive gifts on Christmas Day — children who might otherwise wake up without a present to open.

1,441 children received gifts from us last year! ❤️

But to make it happen, we need somewhere to operate from.

We’ve already been in touch with various letting agents and local businesses, but sadly, despite our efforts, we haven’t had any luck finding the right space.

So now, we’re turning to our incredible Cash for Kids community, supporters and followers and asking you to help us spread the word.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Galashiels, Melrose or Tweedbank area
- 2,000–5,000 sq ft
- Suitable for receiving, sorting and storing Christmas gifts
- Kitchen facilities (so we can make a cuppa)
- Toilet facilities
- Ideally in by late October until the end of January 2027

This space will become the heart of our Mission Christmas operation — the place where donations come in, gifts are sorted and packaged, and ultimately where we help make Christmas morning a little brighter for thousands of children across the Borders.

We are appealing to landlords, businesses, property owners, organisations — ANYONE who might know of a suitable space.

Out on Galavanter this morning we met this family of extremely friendly retrievers - including the most adorable pup! We and our passengers loved meeting them!

Wow! What a day out for our Galavanter Trishaw in Hawick for the Ridonkulous Street Day today! Well done to everyone involved in organising all the activities and entertainment.

Quick adjustment to the new mirrors on the Galavanter Trishaw today before the trip continued through the town. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves ☺️🏁

We popped into Asda this am with the trishaw. We got a lovely warm welcome from the staff and people were very generous with donations. We even picked up a few passengers.

The grey and drizzly weather didn't stop the Galavanter Trishaw going back to school today!
It was great to see familiar faces, and meet some new students at the Enhanced Provision Unit of Galashiels Academy. Looking forward to seeing you all again next week 🚴🏁😊
