Meigle Park update
Our 1sts enjoyed an excellent 28 run win over an impressive Edinburgh Accies side on Saturday at Meigle Park, while a makeshift 2nds side lost by 28 runs at Leith FABS 3rds.
This Saturday sees Gala 1sts play away to Morton, although the game is being played at Hawick CC. The game starts at 12noon.
The 2nds are due to host Morton 3rds at Meigle Park, with a 1pm start.
The club is still looking for any new, returning or lapsed players who may wish to join the club this season as we try our best to field two teams every Saturday - please contact us via social media or [email protected] if interested. Training takes place every Monday and Thursday from 6.15pm at Meigle Park.
Juniors
It’s a really busy week for the juniors, starting tonight (Monday) with a trip to Carlton for our under 15s, weather permitting.
We host a primary five tournament this week, and then Friday evening sees the kwik cricket squad head to Manderston and our fully booked All Stars begin at the club.
We then host Grange on Sunday at under 15 level, with an 11am start.
Junior training takes place every Tuesday from 6.30pm to 7.45pm with any new players even if haven’t played cricket before very welcome. Our membership form is available at http://www.galacricketclub.co.uk/membership-forms.
