🏁WE NEED YOUR HELP 🏁

We are currently part of a Consultation undertaking an economic impact assessment of eleven Common Ridings and Summer Festivals across the Scottish Borders Region and there is still time to take part.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Ridings-Festivals

This research aims to understand the economic, social and cultural value of these events, including how they contribute to local businesses, communities, and the wider visitor economy.

By taking part you can help highlight the importance The Braw Lads’ Gathering has on the local community and help ensure it stays for many years to come.

Thanks
The Braw Lads’ Executive Council 🏁

As the dust settles on what has been an excellent Braw Lads’ Gathering I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to everyone who has played a part in making our events such a success.

Firstly, I would like to thank the Principals. They have been outstanding throughout, carrying out their duties with great dedication, professionalism, and to the highest possible standard. Their commitment and support have been greatly appreciated.

I would also like to commend the Ex-Braw Lads’ & Lasses Committee for all their hard work and dedication in organising and running our functions. The time, effort, and enthusiasm they have given behind the scenes have been a huge part of what has made these occasions so successful.

A special thank you must also go to the Braw Lads’ Gathering Executive Council. The planning, preparation, and organisation required to bring everything together is a tremendous task, and their hard work in delivering such a fantastic programme of events deserves the highest praise.

To all the marshals and stewards, thank you for your commitment and for helping to keep everyone safe. Your presence, guidance, and support throughout the events are invaluable and very much appreciated.

Finally, I would like to thank the people of Galashiels and the wider Borders community. Your continued support, enthusiasm, and participation in all our functions are what make them so special. You have helped create the atmosphere, spirit, and success that we celebrate.

To everyone involved, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and generosity. The success of these events is a true team effort, and we are extremely grateful to each and every one of you.

Thank you,

Ex-Braw Lad Greg Borthwick
Chairman
