A Mental Health and Su***de Prevention and support Charitable Organisation Dom is my brother and earlier this year he felt he had no other option but to end his life. Dominic was living in Thailand and fighting a battle with his mental health that none of his friends or family truly understood the scale of. In April Dominic sent a voice recording to myself and a couple of his friends explaining th
at he could no longer carry on. Dominic was classed as missing for a few weeks until the police in Thailand found him. Dominic loved his music and was an awesome DJ. He loved the festival scene and created and ran hundreds of raves and parties over his short lifetime, all across the globe. He was incredible at creating light shows and putting on epic events for people to come together and dance the night, often many days, away enjoying the power of music. In his last recorded message he started to say that perhaps the people that knew and loved him might have a dance for him but he cut what he was saying short, as if he believed that he didn't deserve to ask that of anyone.
'Dancing With Dom' has been set up to show him that he absolutely does deserve people to have a dance for him because he had a heart of gold and brought love and joy to so many people on this planet. Before Dom ended his life I was about to launch a community project in my home town to help people with their mental health and wellbeing but I had to hit the pause button on it all. After a very long, painful and exhausting few months trying to bring Dominic home to the UK, I am finally able to begin my own grieving and healing journey. This tragic event in my life has brought with it an intense clarity of my purpose for being gifted some time on this planet and that is to help as many people as I can to have good mental health and wellbeing. To Thrive. Life is like a beautiful complex piece of music that we all deserve to dance our way through right to the end with love in our hearts for others and for ourselves along the way. A few years ago I discovered an incredibly simple yet powerful resource that has helped me and my children improve our mental health and wellbeing and I have continued to use it in my work and with friends and family ever since. I believe every human on this planet deserves to know about what this resource teaches and be able to put it into practice because when they do, they will be sure to thrive and dance their dance of life. I had already committed to spend my life sharing what I have learned to help others because like my brother, I too have struggled with my mental health for many years, only I was lucky enough to discover Anxiety Freedom Cards and learn the lessons they had to teach me. I want all humans on this planet to know that they are never alone and there is always hope, light and that they too will be able to dance once again. I am dedicating the rest of my life to getting sets of Anxiety Freedom Cards into everyones hands. I will be sharing them with schools, universities, charities, community groups, businesses, famillies and individuals. They are so simple and accessible that they can have a positive impact on all humans. Period. The money raised through donations and fundraising events through 'Dancing With Dom' will enable both small and large sets of Anxiety Freedom Cards to be donated to people and organisations across the globe to support a brighter lighter future for us all, people and planet.
£6 would buy a small playing card size set of cards ideal for individual use.
£40 would buy a large set of cards ideal for class room settings, running workshops and introducing larger groups of people to a life less anxious. Other monies donated will go to funding the costs involved in running this project and delivering education and training both on and offline across the globe. Sadly it's too late for my brother to dance again on this planet but I hope he see's us spreading the love and joy he brought to so many in his name and memory and that together we can help others see themselves dancing their own dance again. If you feel drawn to support our work and help us share the love and joy we all need so much, please consider donating, hosting a dance event to fundraise or simply share this page and let’s all 'Dance With Dom'. BIG love,
Tanya
