Frome Sunday Gathering

After much deliberation, the Sunday Gathering team have decided to draw the gatherings to a close. We will not be meeting on the 11th June as advertised and apologise for any disappointment. It has been a joy and a privilege to meet so many of you and to sing, laugh and share together. Perhaps we will come together in some other way in the future but, for now, it seems that Frome is so full of places to find wonder, community and space for contemplation; that the Sunday Gathering simply isn’t needed. We are grateful to live in such a great town.
The team will continue to bring community-driven projects to the town (never fear!) and you can look forward to the return of the ever-popular Sofar Sounds - restarting in the Autumn.

Got nothing planned this afternoon and fancy a bit of singing, positive psychology, and even some crafts to keep the kids busy? Come along to our Sunday May Gathering!

MEET THE TEAM: Martha Oster

Martha is a vicar’s daughter, who grew up to become a theologian, teacher, psychotherapist, and lover of all things Community. She is a director at The Good Heart (“celebrating, practising and exploring Kindness”) and believes that it’s no coincidence that all the major world religions (and philosophies) say “Treat each other how you’d like to be treated”.
A mother of young children and a relative newbie to Frome, Martha appreciates any space where people can gather together with a shared purpose in companionship.

In her spare time, Martha writes murder mysteries in a shed in the garden.
