While working on the church over the weekend, we were able to get these close-up photos of the church bell.

We would love to find out more about Alex McGregor, the “Findhorn Loon” who gifted the bell to the church in 1898.

Hello!

We just want to say a huge “Thank you” to the wonderful volunteers that came to give the kirk a spring clean on Saturday!

You did an amazing job: the church is looking so squeaky clean and beautiful!

We are excited to be able to officially open our doors, hopefully very soon! Stay tuned!

The Findhorn Kirk Cleaning day is happening today!

Grab your marigolds and join us to give the kirk a little spring clean to help us open the doors to the public!

Now that we have secured the kirk, it’s time to give it a spring clean!

We are looking for some lovely volunteers to help us clean the church this coming Saturday, the 25th of April, between 10am and 2pm.

If you have the time, we would truly love your help to get the kirk doors back open to the public.

Refreshments will be provided!

Please bring along your favourite cleaning products and an extra hoover wouldn’t go amiss!

Great news everyone! 🎉

The Findhorn Conservation Company would like to announce that we have successfully completed the purchase of the Findhorn kirk!

Thanks to the money raised through the generosity of the Findhorn village and through the income generated by the TFVCC, the future of the kirk is now secure!

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your donations, support, input, messages and participation in our fundraiser up until this point.

We are looking forward to the future, and are excited to begin the hard work of restoring the church and planning events to bring life back to the heart of the village.

We are planning a celebration event, a chance to open the doors of the church, welcome you all in and talk about the future. We will let you know when a date is set!
