Look at us all happy (and a lot rained on!) with this crew from Friday Night Football for Mental health -Forfar. They popped out last night for a look around the Mindful Garden and to give us a wonderful donation of £300 raised from the new kit. Big thank you to Carriers and Gym Forfar for their generosity!

The lovely Sean from Friday Night Football for Mental health -Forfar and Gary from Buckled Body Run Club came out to see us today with a wonderfully generous donation from their latest footie fundraiser. Donations like these are game changing for our wee charity and we are very grateful! Thanks to everyone involved!

Another fab day in the garden with massive thanks to the team from Buckled Body Run Club We broke ground on the Scent Garden with much energetic pick axing work. We got a fair bit of crazy paving done and created a new path linking the bottom section of the garden. We did run short of broken slabs and sand to finish so if anyone has any lying around they'd like to donate please let us know!

We had the most wonderful day on Sunday. This gorgeous crew turned the bare bones of our 'river bed' into a full on sound garden. Rustling grasses, wetland planting, gently flowing water, wind chimes and a homemade glockenspiel transformed it into a haven of tranquillity. Our lovely birds chimed (sorry!) in and a gang of dogs made everything more fun. Soup, cheese and chocolate cake kept us going throughout the day. More pics in the Sound Garden album. Who is coming to join us in the Mindful Garden on Sunday? We have planned a lovely day of gentle planting in the Sound Garden. Anyone who wants more of a work out can help breaking ground in the Scent Garden and topping up raised beds in the new (to us) polytunnel. The usual soup and fine piece will be complemented by a rather superb cheeseboard courtesy of some recent Australian visitors. Come, connect with nature and make new friends!

The fabulous humans from Buckled Body Run Club and Friday Night Football for Mental health -Forfar held a Footie Tournament earlier this month and were kind enough to raise funds for us! We were so excited to welcome Gary and Sean to hand over the donation to our Chair, Bryan on Thurs eve. We had a wonderful time dreaming and scheming future collaborations ... watch this space!
