Bin day changes for householders in South Kesteven come into effect from Monday 15th September.
Every bin and sack collection will be affected, including the garden waste subscription service.
The council has written to every address with a personalised letter explaining how the household’s bin days will change.
An updated printed collection calendar has also been provided to every household.

We are advising householders to put out their wheelie bin - or sack if they don’t have space for a bin - in the same location as previously, by 7.30am on their new day.
Some may have the same collection day, but their time of collection will have changed, which is why it’s important for the bins/sacks to be out early.
Those unsure of their collection day can use the SKDC website at www.southkesteven.gov.uk/binday - or call our dedicated waste and recycling customer services team on 01476 406544.
If you know anyone who requires advice, you may assist them directly or point them towards the website or hotline.
Please be aware that additional resources will initially be in place to help householders.
Please note:
• Bins and sacks will be collected every week on a rota system as before.
• Full details of which week waste and recycling will be collected is available at: www.southkesteven.gov.uk/binday
• Answers to Frequently Asked Questions are available at: www.southkesteven.gov.uk/binsupdate
• All types of collections are affected: For wheelie bin customers – black, silver, purple-lidded (and green waste if subscribed) and for sack customers without wheelie bins – pink and clear.

Public rights of way asset survey - Lincolnshire County Council

We are in the process of collecting data about all the assets found on Lincolnshire’s public rights of way (gates, stiles, bridges, signs, steps, boardwalks etc). This information will allow us to manage the assets better and provide information to users about what they will find along each right of way.

We are looking for local volunteers to help collect the asset information for rights of way in their parish.

Are there people in your parish you think would like to help?

The asset information is easy to collect using a mobile phone app. A guide on how to carry out the survey and use the app will be provided.

Please could you pass this information and my contact details to anyone you think might be interested in helping.

If you require further information or have any questions, please get in touch.

Thank you.
