This could be a really positive step forward in the UK. 6years after medical cannabis was made legal there hasn’t been much development but this could change the way some patients access medication empowering them to grow there own at home and not be subject to the rather high charges imposed by private clinics offering cannabis prescriptions and cannacards.

Despite the increase in medicinal cannabis users in the UK, the stigma surrounding cannabis use persists, leading to concerns that supporting the decriminalisation and regulation of cannabis and its products might be misconstrued as an admission of personal use. However, one does not need to be a consumer to recognise the medical benefits it provides. Our goal is to foster the model devised by and develop a knowledgeable, inclusive, and safer community.

Decriminalising and regulating cannabis, along with allowing personal cultivation either by individuals or through cannabis social clubs, would improve the market by undermining criminal organisations that currently benefit, and ensure consumers have access to safer products devoid of contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, and synthetic THC imported from China.
