Care Anchor Kent CIC is a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting all carers across Kent. Our goal is to empower and uplift carers by providing them with the resources, tools, and support they need. Whether someone is caring full-time, balancing care with work, or supporting a loved one in need, we are here to help make a difference in their lives. We believe that when carers are suppor

ted, their strength creates a ripple effect — improving the lives of those they care for and enriching our communities as a whole. Through advocacy, peer support, wellness activities, and training, we work together to create a network of care across Kent.

🌱 Love gardening? Help grow something special in your community...

⌛ Could you spare a few hours each week to help care for the kitchen garden at Hawkhurst Community Hospital?

🧑🏽‍🌾 The garden is a thriving sustainability project, growing fresh fruit and vegetables for patient meals while creating a welcoming outdoor space that benefits the wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors.

🫶🏼 Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and make a real difference in your local community.

Our second "Caring Cup" at Hawkinge House Care Home - Hartford Care was absolutely wonderful! 🌟 A huge thank you to Jack for being such a fantastic host and making us all feel so welcome.

It was truly special to be joined by some familiar faces and some lovely new ones, too. We were especially thrilled to have the talented Lydia Miller with us! If you haven't checked out her work yet, you absolutely must—you can find more about what she does here: https://s2cspellingbea.co.uk/. It’s so inspiring to see the impact she’s making!

We had such a lovely time catching up, and the treats were, as always, absolutely delicious. Looking forward to the next one already!
