Join us for an International flavoured service!
In our all age service there will be time to engage in the Asia, Africa & Europe "stations" interspersed with gathered times of singing and prayer. You may even get to try some food from a different country. They'll be craft and activities for children to learn about other countries and the church's connections with them.

If you want to wear something international - go for it :)

Refreshments will be served at the end.
N.b. The service won't be streamed this time due to nature of the service.

We look forward to seeing you!

Dear all,

We warmly invite you to join us as we gather to give thanks for the life of Caroline Parker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Cornerstone Centre (home of South Kent Community Church) at 2:00pm on Thursday 28th May 2026 and all are very welcome to attend.

Following this service, there will be a Cremation Service for close invited family .
For those who are not attending the cremation, you are warmly invited to remain at the church building, where tea and coffee will be available.

After the cremation service has taken place, those attending will return to the church building, and we will then share cakes and snacks together.

We hope this will be a meaningful time for everyone to remember Caroline, support one another, and reflect together.

The family ask that donations be made to a bowel disease charity rather than giving flowers. Details of how and where to give will provided on the order of service.

The Cornerstone Centre has a few car parking space which will be prioritised for the immediate family and those with mobility issues. There is limited parking in nearby roads but please be aware there is currently temporary road works and traffic lights close by causing significant delays. Please allow plenty of time if travelling by car.

If you need anything further please contact the church office on:
01303 251155
[email protected]

p.s.
There is no official dress code – please dress smart-casual in keeping with the occasion. Caroline liked blue so you can wear a touch of this if you wish.
