Newport Bound! ⚽⚫⚪
We’re just setting off from Flint, heading down to Newport to cheer on the Silkmen in the JD Welsh Cup Final.
​It is a massive day for our town. We might be going in as the underdogs, but with the heart and spirit of this team—and the passion of the fans who are making the trip, and watching on TV, we can do it!
​Looking forward to seeing many fans at Rodney Parade. Let’s get behind the team and bring that trophy back to Flint!

⚫⚪ You may have already noticed black and white bunting starting to appear around the Town Hall and in shop windows.

This is all in support of Flint Town United as they head to the Welsh Cup Final – an incredible achievement and the first time in 70 years! 👏

With the final taking place on Sunday 12th April in Newport, we’re encouraging all local shops, businesses and residents to get involved and show your support.

🎉 Let’s turn Flint black and white and create a real buzz across the town!

The Mayor, Cllr R. Davies and Mayoress, Cllr N. Davies were delighted to join Cllr. M. Perfect and so many local families for the Easter Egg Hunt at Flint Castle 🏰🐣. It was wonderful to see the community come together and explore in search of hidden treats 🍫🥚✨!

A highlight was the appearance of the Easter Bunny 🐰, who brought plenty of smiles to everyone's faces 😊💛.
