A special BIG Bake ❤️🍰

On 26 March, Liz and her local community will be hosting a special BIG Bake, using their Cosy Hub café to raise funds and awareness for our charity, in loving memory of Liz’s daughter, Natalie. Natalie loved baking so this has extra special meaning for her family.

Natalie grew up in the village and was well known by many local people, who supported her and her family following her diagnosis. For Liz, taking part is a meaningful way to remember her daughter in the place that always felt like home, while helping to support other families affected by a brain tumour diagnosis.

Liz knows every penny counts and she’s absolutely right. Whether it’s a coffee morning, school bake sale, workplace fundraiser, or a table of treats at a community event… every BIG Bake helps!

Well done Ioanna running 2k every day of February in memory of her mum - and it's her first ever running challenge! I think her latest post from JustGiving is an inspiration:
'Day 15 ✔️ 2km done (19:55). Long, busy day with the kids… but the promise to myself matters. Showing them that even when you’re tired, you keep going. 💙'
To anyone out there who fancies taking on their first fundraising challenge The Twilight Own Walk might be perfect... https://www.thebraintumourcharity.org/get-involved/thetwilightwalk/twilight-walk-own-walk/

Could you imagine hearing the words “you have a brain tumour” for the first time?
How would that feel for you… for your family… for someone you love?

For so many people, that moment is frightening, overwhelming and life-changing.
Now imagine being told that there is support.

That you’re not alone.

That there’s help available, not just at diagnosis, but in the days, months and years that follow.

That’s what Big Bake helps make possible

By taking part and raising funds, you’re helping ensure that people affected by brain tumours have access to vital support, information and hope, when they need it most.
It might feel like “just a bake”, but to someone facing a brain tumour diagnosis, it can mean the world.

Please consider registering for Big Bake and be part of making that change for someone else. Together, we can help people feel supported, from diagnosis and beyond.
