❤️ What an incredible tribute. ❤️

This weekend, Katrina, her sister and a group of friends will take on a truly special challenge as they climb Ben Lomond through the night to mark 20 years since the loss of their dad to a brain tumour.

Choosing to honour his memory on the summer solstice and Father's Day weekend makes this challenge even more meaningful, and we're absolutely blown away by the support they have received.

Their original fundraising target was £700, but thanks to the generosity of family, friends and supporters, they have already smashed that target, raising an amazing amount for The Brain Tumour Charity before they've even taken their first steps up the mountain. 👏

Every pound raised will help fund vital research and support services for people affected by brain tumours, creating hope for families facing this devastating disease today.

Katrina, thank you. What a beautiful way to remember your dad and celebrate the life he lived. We are so grateful to you, your sister and everyone joining you for this challenge.

Good luck for the climb, we'll be cheering you on every step of the way! ⛰️❤️

🎶 A huge thank you to Acclaim Choir and all of their wonderful supporters who raised an incredible £2,822 for The Brain Tumour Charity at their concert on Saturday 23rd May! 🎶

We are so grateful that Acclaim Choir chose to support us through this fantastic event, helping to raise both vital funds and awareness of brain tumours within their local community.

This amazing donation will have a real and lasting impact. The funds raised could help provide specialist support to families facing a brain tumour diagnosis, fund vital research into better treatments, and help us continue raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of brain tumours.

What makes this achievement even more special is the generosity behind it. The choir members cover all of their concert costs themselves, meaning every penny donated by their audience goes directly to supporting the chosen charity.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the concert, donated so generously, and helped make the evening such a success. Together, you have raised not only an incredible amount of money, but also awareness of a disease that affects thousands of families across the UK every year.

From all of us at The Brain Tumour Charity, thank you Acclaim Choir. Your support means more than you know, and you should all be incredibly proud of what you've achieved. ❤️

What an absolutely incredible achievement from the amazing ladies of the Matthew Smith Fund ❤️

Yesterday, Matthew’s mum Di, his aunt Lisa and his goddaughter Jessica completed their emotional 3-day walk from Perth to Edinburgh, finishing at Murrayfield Stadium on what would have been Matthew’s 38th birthday.

Over the past few days they have taken on difficult terrain, long miles and every challenge thrown at them, all in Matthew’s memory and to help change the future for others affected by brain tumours. Thanks to their unbelievable efforts, they have raised just under £3,000 for the Matthew Smith Fund.💪

We honestly cannot thank you enough. Your strength, determination and love for Matthew is inspiring to see and every single pound raised will help fund vital brain tumour research, moving us closer to kinder treatments and ultimately, a cure.

Matthew’s legacy continues to make such a difference and we are so incredibly grateful to you all 🧠❤️👏

This time last week, Luke Duckworth, Sam and Jamie crossed the finish line of the incredibly tough Fred Whitton Challenge in memory of their friend Dave. ❤️

One week on, the fundraising total is STILL growing and these amazing boys have now raised a phenomenal £12,033.75 👏

What an unbelievable achievement.

Not only did they take on one of the UK’s hardest cycling challenges, they’ve done it with such love, determination and dedication to honour Dave’s memory and create a lasting legacy in his name.

Every single mile ridden and every pound raised will help us continue funding vital research and supporting families affected by brain tumours. We truly cannot thank you enough for everything you have done.

You should all be so incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️

Please join us in congratulating Luke, Sam and Jamie on this incredible achievement. 👏🧠

What a week I’ve had this week supporting the most amazing people across our communities 💪

I started the week supporting the incredible Dell Technologies Golf Day in Leeds, which has so far raised a whopping £7,175 for The Brain Tumour Charity. Thank you so much to everyone at Dell Technologies for your continued and amazing support, we honestly can’t thank you enough for everything you do for us and the brain tumour community ⛳

From there, I travelled to Bristol for a fantastic team day with our Community Fundraising team. It was a brilliant opportunity to come together, plan and innovate so we can continue supporting our amazing communities in the best way possible.🧖

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of visiting the 4th Year Hospitality students at South Lanarkshire College, who raised an amazing £500 through a bake sale in support of The Brain Tumour Charity. They chose to support us because one of their fellow students who helped organise the fundraiser is living with a brain tumour. What an inspiring group of young people, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you all 🍰

I then rounded off the week with a visit to Perth to cheer on these incredible ladies, Matthew’s mum, aunt and goddaughter from the Matthew Smith Fund, who over the next 3 days will be walking from Blairgowrie to Edinburgh to raise money in Matthew’s memory. They have already raised a phenomenal £2,727 so far which is just amazing!🚶

Weeks like this remind me just how special this community is. The kindness, strength and determination shown by our supporters never fails to inspire me.

Supporting you amazing people really is the best job in the world. ❤️🧠

A huge thank you to the amazing team at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh and especially the Spirit Health Club Edinburgh, for taking part in this year’s Big Bake 🍰❤️💪

Together, you’ve raised an incredible £1,055 - what an achievement!

£300 funds a full day of research into brain tumours, so thanks to your efforts, you’ve helped fund over 3 days of vital research. That’s 3 days closer to better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.

We’re so grateful to everyone involved, from the organisers to every single person who baked, donated, and supported ❤️

And to everyone else who took part in this year’s Big Bake, we’d love to hear how you got on! If you haven’t had a chance to send in your fundraising yet, there’s still time 🧠❤️

What an incredible achievement from Julie Simpson 👏❤️

Over the Easter weekend, Julie alongside her sister Mary, brother-in-law Tony and cousin Morag, took on an amazing 70-mile walk across The Sandstone Trail & The Weaver Way in Cheshire, all in memory of Jacob and to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Julie set herself a target of £500… and has absolutely smashed it, raising an incredible £1,222 including Gift Aid! 🎉

Julie has been supporting us since 2023 and has now raised over £6,000 in total, which is just amazing. Your continued dedication, Julie, truly makes such a difference ❤️

Thank you for walking, for remembering Jacob, and for helping us move further, faster towards a cure.

You are incredible ❤️

What a weekend for Big Bake ❤️

From local community halls to schools… and even as far as the Shetland Islands, our incredible supporters have been out in force raising funds and awareness, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

A huge thank you to Pauline, who hosted a brilliant bake sale in her school alongside her colleague Alison. Not only did they raise a phenomenal £1000, but they also brought together such a meaningful mix of people, including their local MSP and council leader, showing just how far these conversations are reaching.

Pauline has supported us for years, in memory of her dear friend’s son Dougal (The Dino Mite Dougal Fund) who sadly passed away just two months after being diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma. She continues to honour both him and his mum Jill, who also tragically passed away in 2024.

At the same time, Alison’s daughter has been living with Craniopharyngioma since 2022 facing it with incredible strength and continuing to live life to the full despite the challenges. Alison’s family are also taking on the Edinburgh Half Marathon this May to raise funds 💪

This is what Big Bake is all about.

People coming together, sharing stories, raising awareness, and making a real difference.

Thank you Pauline & Alison❤️❤️
