COFFEE MORNING CANCELLED

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this months coffee morning, due to be held this Wednesday, is cancelled.
We look forward to seeing you all in March.

Wednesday 12th November, 10:30am, everyone is welcome to join us for our annual Poppy Appeal Coffee Morning.

Coffee, tea, cake, a Poppy themed raffle and a quiz.

All money raised will go directly to this years Poppy Appeal.

Everyone is invited to join in with tomorrow’s Remembrance Sunday service at St Mary’s church from 10:50am.

A parade of village groups, including us, will make its way from Hill Street to outside the war memorial at St Mary’s church for a short outdoor service in the war memorial garden, starting at 10:55.
At 11:00, the national two minutes silence will be observed, followed by the laying of the Poppy wreath ceremony.
Afterwards, everyone is welcome to join us all inside the church for a service of Remembrance to all who have fallen in the name of King or Queen and Country.
During this service, a collection will take place in aid of the 2025 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Today is the launch of this years Poppy Appeal.
Paper and plastic poppy’s are available throughout the village at numerous shops and outlets. Lookout for the boxes and do give whatever you can for this years appeal. All money raised goes to helping veterans and service personnel who are struggling and in need.

This Sunday (22nd) sees the Norfolk County Rededication parade and service come to Feltwell.
From 2:30pm, a parade of Royal British Legion members, Standards, military and non military personnel will travel from the Legion hall on Long Lane up to the chequers and down to St Mary’s Church all lead by the Glenmoriston Pipe and Drum band from Suffolk.
At 3pm, St Mary’s church will be hosting a service for the Royal British Legion. During which, Norfolk County will be unveiling and dedicating their new Standard - their first new Standard in over 20 years.
At roughly 4pm, the parade will then travel from the church down the high street back to the Legion hall.

During the parade, there will be numerous road closures in place. We ask that you are patient while the parade passes through.

We will be having a stall on Saturday at the village yard sale day.

Refreshments will be available including bacon rolls and hot and cold drinks.

There will also be the last chance to try and find the £50 treasure on our treasure hunt map.
