This page has been created to support Bonnie and raise money to support her journey. Our current aim is to provide Bonnie with ongoing MAEs Therapy to improve her movements and also to be prepared for any specialised equipment costs that may arise. Following some amazing progress at some introductory sessions of MAEs Therapy we have seen a real benefit in Bonnie continuing this treatment. A little

on the gorgeous Bonnie... Following complications at birth and a Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (which means lack of oxygen to the brain) Bonnie was diagnosed with severe brain damage, Dysphagia (a lack of a safe swallow), Quad Dystonic Cerebral Palsy and recently Epilepsy. She wasn’t given a good chance of survival yet here we are over 4 years later with this amazing little girl! At the moment she is unable to sit, crawl, walk or talk, although she has started babbling and rolling onto her side recently which is great. She cannot swallow so has a button in her tummy so she can be fed and needs suctioning throughout the day because of her lack of swallow. Unfortunately, she is prone to frequent hospital stays caused by chest infections. She has a beautiful smile as you can see and loves playing with her two sisters, two cats (Blossom and Dobbie) and dog Patrick. We now also have a red footed tortoise called Shelby. Bonnie has had a busy week this week with school and a couple of appointments at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

At school she made a yummy fruit salad this week and also made some finishing touches to her Father's Day card and gift for her dad ❤️

Bonnie also enjoyed seeing her eldest sister in her beautiful red dress for her prom night this week 🥰

On Monday 4th May Team Bonnie was one of 3 charities chosen to raise funds for at a charity cricket match in Feering.

Thank you to all the players and supporters who came along on the day. Team Bonnie had £216 raised and the other 2 charities, The Ruth Strauss Foundation and Great Ormond Street Hospital, had £266 and £256 raised for them in total.

Congratulations to all the players who took part and well done to the Blue team who won on the day.

Introduce requirements for large public venues such as supermarkets and family attractions to provide accessible changing benches so disabled children who outgrow baby changing tables can be safely changed in public places
