STATEMENT FROM THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Please be aware that we have health and safety rules in place to protect everyone who uses the centre.
It is not acceptable for any of our volunteers to be spoken to abusively when we explain that we cannot allow more than 40 people in our largest room. This limit exists for important reasons, including fire regulations and the safety of all visitors.
We are always happy to do our best to support anyone wishing to hire rooms at the centre. However, these rules are in place for a reason. We require indemnity forms to be completed to cover any potential damage and to safeguard the building, which is very old and needs to be protected.
To make a booking, you can email, message, or call us. Please remember that all committee members work full‑time, so an appointment will be arranged for you to meet with one of us to complete the necessary forms. Bookings are added once this process is finished. We do not take bookings directly over the phone due to previous issues with time‑wasters.
