The benefits of quitting start sooner than you think ⏱️

According to the NHS:

⏰ 20 minutes — heart rate and blood pressure start to drop
🕛 12 hours — carbon monoxide leaves your blood
📅 2–12 weeks — circulation improves, less coughing and shortness of breath
🌱 1 year — risk of coronary heart disease is cut by half

Every cigarette you don't smoke is a win. 💚

As part of an Urgent Care contract review by NHS Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, the NHS is seeking people's views and experiences of urgent care services, such as GP out-of-hours, night nursing and urgent treatment centres. These services help when you need medical care quickly, but it is not an emergency. https://survey.ntropydata.co.uk/surveys/JG2026IUC2

A short, anonymous survey is now open until Sunday 21 June and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Feedback is welcomed from anyone who has used urgent care services, including those that may find it harder to access.

The NHS is seeking people’s views and experiences to help shape how urgent care services such as GP out-of-hours services, night nursing services and urgent treatment centres are delivered.
