The Ultimate Companion: A very happy-go-lucky, deeply affectionate soulmate once bonded. She loves lap time, cuddles, belly rubs, face licks, being very close to you, whilst being your devoted shadow around the house and garden.

Playful as a puppy still at heart yet placid temperament when trusts.l and easy contented.

Timid Initially: She is initially timid with new people, doesn’t usually bark at things or people out and about so not problematic behaviour and bonds rapidly within a few days to a couple of weeks when given space, patience, and clear guidance.

✅Marlene is beautiful inside & out, incredibly eager to learn and please, super responsive to training with kibble, recall Protential fantastic progress, dog cautious but friendly, super infectious personality traits, deeply loving 🥰 and a super companion.

Finding the perfect forever home for a rescue dog like Marlene is a responsibility we take very seriously. 🐾

We have been overwhelmed by the level of interest in Marlene, receiving well over 40 applications alongside numerous inquiries. To make the process as straightforward and transparent as possible, we design our application forms to collect essential details upfront, saving applicants time and reducing unnecessary back-and-forth messaging.

However, a recurring challenge we encounter is receiving partially completed applications or experiencing a total loss of communication ("ghosting") when we follow up with standard clarifying questions.

While we understand that circumstances change or people may realise a particular dog isn't the right match, open communication is vital. Rescues are run on dedicated time and effort, and reviewing incomplete applications takes valuable time away from the animals in our care.

Completeness matters: Thorough answers allow us to evaluate whether a dog’s specific behavioral and environmental needs match your lifestyle.

It’s Not About Big Houses or gardens—It’s About Big Hearts. 🐾❤️

We often get asked what we look for in potential adopters, and there is a common misconception that you need a huge house or a sprawling estate to adopt a rescue dog.

That couldn't be further from the truth.
We don't need fancy show houses or massive gardens. What we do need is the right match with a person who truly loves, respects, and understands animals—someone who is 100% committed to giving a dog the safe, fulfilling life they deserve.

The compassion you show, your patience, and the kind of person you are will always mean infinitely more to us than what you have.

When we list specific criteria for a dog—like needing an adult-only home, or being the only pet—it isn't about setting "high hurdles." It’s simply about setting the right criteria for that specific dog's safety and well-being.

Every rescue dog has their own unique background and needs. Stating those requirements is how we ensure both the dog and the adopter are set up for success, allowing the dog to decompress, thrive, and live their absolute best life.

At the end of the day, suitability, safety, and unconditional commitment override everything else.
If you have the heart, the commitment, and a home that fits what a specific dog needs to feel safe and loved, that is what truly matters.
