A big thank you to all of the members who came to our AGM last week, thanks to you we achieved the quorum we needed and were able to complete the meeting in good time and enjoy some lovely cakes and hot drinks afterwards.

The programme for May onwards - along with an updated groups list - are due for issue at the talks meeting on Wednesday 10th where printed copies will be available to collect, with email copies hopefully coming out a day or two earlier. Talks coming up range from a day in the life of a magistrate to the invisible universe, so a huge span of subjects!

Our final "talks meeting" of the year will not involve much talking since we are being visited by the lovely Chantrelle Singers, a group of ladies who will entertain us with seasonal songs performed in 3 part harmony.
Also coming up in the next two weeks are our coach trip to Bath and our annual Christmas dinner.
