What a performance in the sun, the boys were all superb tonight. We played some great stuff at times and mixed up our play throughout which is really pleasing.

Syngenta Grange 2016s, a local youth football team, are holding a Race Night to help raise funds for the team. We are currently looking for kind support from local businesses in the form of donated prizes (vouchers, products, services, hampers, etc.) for our raffle and race winners.

All money raised will go directly towards helping the boys with essential costs such as equipment, facilities, and tournament fees. Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated and your business will be acknowledged on the night and in our team communications.

It was a good competitive game tonight, the boys were unlucky to be on the wrong end of the result. We had really good passages of play at times but also spells where we dropped off and lost a bit focus. A big well done to them all though and mentions for Leyton as captain and Arran for player of the match 👌 also need to mention that save Matty made in 2nd half …top drawer ⚽️🧡🖤

We challenged the boys a bit more today as we knew we were up against strong opposition who have caused us problems before. Every single one of them met the challenge. After a slowish start we found our feet and worked hard with some outstanding bits of play all over the park. The boys can be very proud of the team performance today, I know the coaching team are very proud of them for showing what they can do. Multiple different scorers and important contributions from every player. Well done boys.

Captain for the day was Arran.

MOTM which must have been tough for the ref today was Tambo.

Tough one today for the boys against a good side. They say you can learn more from these experiences than the flip side so they’ve learned a lot today! When we switched on we managed some good efforts and a few decent bits of play. Awareness, tackling and making it hard in general for opponents are key in these games and we weren’t quite on it.

Captain for todays game was Kade and our MOTM was Tambo. See everyone at training this week ⚽️🧡🖤
