PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS LOCALLY

There are 6 good causes to vote for in the Ward 1 options for community funding in this year’s Falkirk Council Participate Plus awards, where the public get to vote for the things they think are most important. We would be grateful if you would consider making Bo’ness Car 4U one of your 3 choices, to give free hospital transport for cancer patients in Bo’ness and Blackness. THESE PATIENTS ALL NEED YOUR HELP!💜

Link below to vote online, or visit your local library to cast your vote. Even if you don’t choose Bo’ness Car 4U, please give your votes to others to boost their much needed funds.
The voting phase of Community Choices opened on Monday 02 February 2026 and closes on Friday 27 February 2026.

A huge thank you to all at Bo'ness True Blues Fighting Fund R.S.C. for their amazing generosity in raising £1500 to donate to Bo’ness Car 4U. 👏👏In the photos are Scott Kilgour, Tom Purves & David Leith representing the True Blues and Jim Ford (Treasurer), Maria Ford (Fundraiser) & Val Ferguson OBE (Publicity Officer) from Bo’ness Car 4U. They said they chose our charity as various members had previously supported Prostrate Cancer and there was a clear connection with our group. This will significantly help us to support Bo’ness cancer patients with free transport to their appointments.

Thank you to the Bo’ness Journal for helping to publicise our recruitment exercise to expand our team of volunteer drivers. The article is on the front page of the 5th September edition. We are also seeking an additional co-ordinator who would take bookings for seven days every month, as part of a team of four. CAN YOU HELP?
