Hello everyone,
This is just a message to make aware that our AGM will be coming in the not to distant future.

We also like to invite any person(s) that are curious or thinking of joining us to come along, if you are hoping to come along, please send a message enquiry via our website so we can be sure to add you and welcome you.

If anyone has anything they would like to ensure is on the agenda or to be mentioned please DM and we can add.

Lastly, as we are hoping to become a fully fledged charity, we need to ensure that we have a full committee cover, we therefore need to fill the roles of Secretary and treasurer. If you would like to step forward in filling either of these roles, please DM expressing your interest and we will add as a candidate.

If you’re interested in providing a home for our little Hedgehog friends, please get in touch and we can make you one. All our Hog Houses are made to Hedgehog trust recommendations and also made from recycled / repurposed wood. Orders nearly full for this year but if you want one, we can add you to the list. This is such a good example of how nobody knows what problems others are facing and what will trigger us to bring out our demon upon you. So, no matter how important you THINK you are or how hard you THINK you are,
Take a second to THINK how actions or words may affect others.
THINK before you act or speak, the mind is a vital organ and yet is the most easily damaged!
Please THINK about this message and the importance of being kind, it may be you that becomes one of the statistics one day and would you want others to THINK the same?

Honouring the past. Supporting today. Working shoulder to shoulder.

Today on the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain we are proud to launch the Armed Forces Community Accreditation.

This date was chosen with care.

The Battle of Britain stands as a defining moment of courage, sacrifice and unity. By launching today, we hope to honour those who served then and all who have served since, while strengthening our commitment to the Armed Forces community working shoulder to shoulder with every Shed.

This new initiative recognises UKMSA Member Sheds that offer a warm welcome, purposeful activity and meaningful support to:
• Those currently serving
• Veterans
• Families and dependants

Find out how your Shed can achieve Bronze, Silver or Gold accreditation and stand shoulder to shoulder with the Armed Forces community.
