Last night we had the privilege of having Alison Hernandez, the current Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall as our guest speaker. She gave us an insight into her working life, her achievements and some low moments. There were lots of questions from the members and we all certainly learnt a lot about policing and local issues. The committee would like to say a huge thank you to Alison, The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall, for giving up her valuable time to talk to us.

On Saturday 20th June, we’ll be making history as Pride takes to the streets of Exmouth for the very first time - and we’d love you to be part of it.

Whether you’re LGBTQ+, an ally, a family, a friend or a supporter, everyone is welcome to march with us in celebration, visibility, solidarity and community 💖

This is more than just a parade - it’s a chance to stand together, show that Exmouth is proud, inclusive and welcoming, and create a moment our community will remember for years to come.

No sign-up is needed for individuals - just turn up, bring your Pride, and march with us 🌈

Local organisations, community groups and businesses who would like to take part are asked to contact us in advance.

Today, we’re proud to stand with and our community to protest the EHRC guidance on bathroom bans. 🪧

Pride is a protest and we will always advocate for equality.

A big shoutout to our wonderful committee members Annie for speaking at today’s protest, and Melissa for their incredible work with TPEx and organising the event.

Visitors welcome but due to the popularity of these speakers please DM to book a place, £5 Visitor fee.

We are at Devon County Show today - pop by to see us - we are in the craft marquee ###

16 of us joined WI in the City on a tour of County Hall.
It was a very knowledgeable guide who showed us around and gave us lots of very interesting facts.
The tour started with a 260 year old oak tree and ended with the ‘Leaning Tower of Pisa’ tree - the photo just had to be done 😂
