🌍 Friends and community members across Diverse Devon Together,
We’re excited to invite you to take part in Roots & Routes: Nourishing Diasporic Food Entrepreneurship, taking place on 20 June 2026 at Exeter College (Hele Road Site).
This event is about food, heritage, migration, memory, and the stories we carry through generations and across borders. We want to celebrate the incredible diversity of our communities through food, culture, craft, and hospitality.
We are looking for people from all communities who:
• run food or hospitality businesses
• grow or produce food
• make sauces, spices, preserves, baked goods, tea, coffee, or cultural products
• create kitchenware, crafts, decorations, textiles, or food-related items
• would like to lead a workshop or demonstration
• want to share stories, traditions, and cultural knowledge connected to food
From growing to serving — from seeds to kitchens to community tables — we want to bring these stories together in one shared space 🌱
There will be opportunities to:
🍲 join conversations and discussions
☕ run masterclasses or demonstrations
🛍 set up a stall to sell food, drinks, crafts, kitchen items, decorations, or cultural products
🤝 meet new audiences, collaborators, and communities
