12 APRIL – TRAVELLING SEWING KIT/CHATELAINE – ANNIE

Originally this was going to be made in just denim but I have chosen to give you the choice of either using denim or a fabric of your choice. I will bring along denim scraps and alternative fabrics to the workshop. You will be given patterns for Needle case, Pin holder, Thimble holder, scissor case
Requirements:
To make the full Chatelaine 1/2 yard of fabric of choice or to make an individual item a smaller amount of fabric.
Usual sewing kit and embroidery thread/matching sewing thread for fabric
Fabric stiffener (will bring some with me)
Felt matching fabric for needle case (will bring felt and flannel fleece with me)
Stuffing for pin cushion (will bring some with me)
Milk bottle plastic for thimble holder (will bring some plastic with me)
Plastic or metal curtain rings (will bring some with me)
For the Travelling Needle case a D ring
