This Prisons Week, we join together in prayer for everyone affected by imprisonment: people in prison, their families and friends, prison staff, and all whose lives have been impacted by crime.

As we reflect on this year’s theme of connection, we pray for freedom from fear and isolation, for healing and forgiveness, and for the strength to show mercy and justice to one another.

Mothers’ Union has proudly sponsored Prisons Week for 40 years. Join us in prayer as we remember all those affected by the criminal justice system. 🙏

As Prisons Week begins (11–17 October), we’re celebrating the work of Mothers’ Union members who support people in prison and their families.

For 40 years, Mothers’ Union has proudly sponsored Prisons Week, recognising the importance of prayer, connection and practical support for everyone affected by imprisonment.

Through their work in prisons, MU members help build relationships, offer encouragement and remind people that they are not forgotten.
