Enfield Island Village Trust is an organisation that aims to improve the quality of life for residents, visitors and homeowners on Enfield Island Village in the London Borough of Enfield. It is a not-for-profit organisation run by local residents for local residents.

- In our community centre (also available to hire) we host activities and groups aimed at improving life on the Island and bringing

people together.

- We work closely with organisations such as the police, council, water and parks authorities to fight for the interests of local residents and we sponsor crime reduction initiatives.

- We own and look after local canals and parkland, footpaths and cycleways so they can be used for leisure and recreation by everyone on the Island.

- We run projects ranging from graffiti removal to refurbishment of local public canals and buildings. Enfield Island Village is an urban village on the boundaries of London, Hertfordshire and Essex bounded by rivers and canals. The Island is on the North Eastern boundary of the London Borough of Enfield in picturesque surroundings flanked by the River Lea and Lee Valley Park to the West/North West, Sewardstone Marsh and Epping Forest to the East. Historically part of Essex, it became part of the London Borough of Enfield after the closure of the Royal Small Arms Factory at the end of the 1990’s. An estimated 3,000 people now live on the Island in over 1,300 private houses and flats, and social housing.
