Guardians of Whitewebbs Community Nature Walk, 31st May 2026 at 12pm. Meet at the cafΓ©, Beggars Hollow, Whitewebbs Park, EN2 9JN (turn off Clay Hill). Join us on a May walk exploring the beauty of Spring at Whitewebbs! π₯°π
The walk will be led by expert, Benny Hawksbee. And we're excited to welcome the CrowdJustice team, who will be filming the walk! πΈβ¨οΈ
The poster features a photo by Alison Gracie of one of the veteran trees that would be cut down by Spurs to make way for its proposed development. It's the Horse Chestnut we decorated with a tree shrine in 2024. Will it still be here to flower again next year? It is especially important to join the walk in light of the recent news that Whitewebbs Park has been listed, among other areas, as a potential location for the Enfield New Town. We can't wait to see you there! Please tell your friends and family about the event and our campaign, and continue the fight with us! π³πΈ
Directions: We have noticed that Google Maps can take you on a much longer route than is necessary. Please, especially when coming by public transport, enter your destination as "Beggars Hollow, Enfield, EN2 9JN". This short road will take you to Whitewebbs CafΓ©, where this event will start. This means that you can take the most direct route. ππΊ
