…as we consider options, one premises we are looking at would allow us to operate a cafe!

As part of our efforts to LOWER THE COST OF LIVING, we are looking to offer a PRE-PAY option to a limited number of people.

HOW THIS WOULD WORK

By pre-paying helps us to scale operations with predictable income, and by way of thanks, you would have the option to eat with us once a day, every day for the whole period (1/3/6 months)

We are looking to offer a varied menu & you could choose to eat in / takeaway!

Imagine knowing breakfast / lunch was covered!!

🙏 WE ARE SEEKING 340 INCREDIBLE HUMANS with £100, Why?

📊 In 2025 we continually supported 50+ people AT HOME with their struggle to even feed themselves, or get suitable nutrition!

🎄 On Christmas Eve we dedicated SIX HOURS of driving time to making sure that 70+ people had a cooked Christmas Dinner DELIVERED TO THEIR DOOR!

💷 If you didn't know Foodboxely.com is 100% SELF FUNDED & run by volunteers....

📅 In 2026 we have BIG plans to launch something bigger better and even more IMPACTFUL!!! But we need your help...

💷 To alot of people £100 is not a huge sum of money....
💷 To businesses £1000 is not a huge sum...
🏆 With support from just 340 PEOPLE or 34 businesses we could take the next BIG STEP!!!
..but we are asking not just for investment to help us in order that we can help more people, but we want your backing too!!! 💪

🫶 With people behind us & supporting us, we plan to;
⭐️ Setup a brand new larger premises
⭐️ Host a variety of local food based events helping vulnerable people across the wider Ely area
⭐️ Increase our capacity for food box deliveries & widen the reachable delivery area ℹ️ In our first 72 hours online we had requests as far as Peterborough, Cambridge & Newmarket!!
⭐️ Look at offering chef prepared pre-cooked & ready meals, making life easier for those struggling
⭐️ Offer cooking classes - taught by qualified chefs
⭐️ Create volunteer opportunities and ultimately employment opportunities

👀 What this will look like will depend on the premises we are able to secure moving forwards - but we are EXCITED!! As this may mean we can offer EVEN more than we already have been....

📦 Deliveries as you would expect from us!
👨‍🍳 Chefs on hand to make sure your food is the best quality and variety it can be... And ready for you to eat / reheat! Plus special treats!
☕️ There has even been talk of quality coffee too!!

🫶 Watch this space as we continue this journey & remember because we are SELF FUNDED & a small team- things may take a little monger - but our hearts are fully in every decision we make to help you!!!
