Introducing the SI Foundation’s Her Enterprise for Reinvestment & Advancement (HERA) Project.

Earlier this year, Soroptimist International of Cambodia advanced this initiative to help local women strengthen their livelihoods through practical training, start‑up capital and collective saving. From launching new micro‑businesses to joining community savings groups, women are building confidence, stability and long‑term financial security.

It shows how Foundation support and Soroptimist action can help women shape stronger, more secure futures.

Earlier this year, Soroptimist International of El Centro brought together 114 girls for STEAM WARS & BEYOND: Dream It, Be It — a Soroptimist International Foundation-supported project helping girls explore career pathways, build practical skills and connect with role models.

The impact went beyond the day itself: 91% of participants who completed the evaluation said they felt prepared to pursue their career goals, while 92% created achievable goals for their future.

This is one example of how Soroptimists, partners and Foundation support can work together to create meaningful opportunities for women and girls.

📣 We're recruiting! Soroptimist International is seeking a Director of Soroptimist International Foundation (SIF) to join our global board for the 2027–2028 term.

This volunteer leadership role oversees fundraising, donor relations and grant-making for the Foundation, supporting projects across all five Federations — including our flagship Women's Health focus theme, "Her Health: Our Future."

We're looking for someone with fundraising or philanthropy experience, strong financial understanding, and a passion for our mission. All Soroptimists are eligible to apply.

Applications are closing soon for SI’s Gender Medicine Working Group.

This is an opportunity for Soroptimists to help lead the development of SI’s first international awareness campaign on Gender Medicine and contribute to an important new area of our global advocacy.

We are seeking a diverse range of experience and perspectives, including members with backgrounds in health, research, academia, advocacy and communications, as well as those with enthusiasm for the campaign and a willingness to contribute actively.

At the SI 2027 Convention, Soroptimists from across the world will come together in Prague to share ideas, strengthen connections and celebrate our collective work for women and girls.

The Convention will bring members together across clubs, countries and Federations — creating space to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new Soroptimists, learn from shared experience, and hear from speakers and sessions shaped around the health, rights and resilience of women and girls.

It will also be a moment to recognise the strength of our global movement and the commitment that unites Soroptimists everywhere.
