The team were again deployed today in the ongoing search for a missing person near Peterborough.

The team are out again this evening assisting the police with a search for a high-risk missing person near Peterborough.

Have you seen missing Wiktoria?

She was last seen on Thursday evening at about 7pm, where it is believed she took a bus from Queensgate towards Yaxley.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and searches are being carried out in the surrounding areas as part of efforts to locate her.

She is described as 6ft tall, of skinny build and was last seen to be wearing a brown dress with white spots.

Anyone who has seen Wiktoria or who has information concerning her whereabouts should call 101 quoting incident 64 of 13 August.

If you get into trouble in the water – please remember .

▪️Tilt your head back so your ears are under the water.
▪️Relax.
▪️Move your hands and feet.
▪️Your legs may sink, but that is OK as everyone floats differently.
▪️Control your breathing.
▪️Once calm either call for help or try and swim to safety.

If you see someone else in trouble near water - call for help.
Never try and carry out a rescue yourself as you could put yourself in danger too.

This week has seen the Accountable Manager of our Drone Team attend a Drone Maintenance Course hosted by HELIGUY.com in Newcastle. Some very useful knowledge now gained that will help us with the ongoing maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of our drone fleet as well as the regulatory compliance with our UK CAA PDRA01 Operational Authorisation. The safety and professionalism of all drone deployments is always a priority.
